Amy Poehler loves higher education, produces a movie about a high school teacher

Amy Poehler is getting back into the producing game with a new movie based on a high school teacher. Following the success of her show she's producing on Hulu, Difficult People, Poehler and her production company Paper Kite have sold a pitch to Universal Pictures for a movie called Schooled. Deadline reports the film is set to be written by Erica Oyama (Burning Love) and will follow a high school teacher as she tries to gain the respect she deserves. Paper Kite also produces the hit Comedy Central show Broad City, the upcoming Tina Fey/Poehler vehicle Sisters, the now canceled Welcome to Sweden and others.
