It's the best time of the year for networks looking for other shows. Plans are being finalized and such as comedians, dramatic actors and producers settle on deals for new series and pilots. Now, comedian Morgan Murphy and big time director/producer/writer Tim Story have such a pilot commitment at ABC. Deadline reports that the two have garnered a put pilot for Murphy's new show about two brothers who return home after the mother passes away only to find their LA neighborhood gentrified. Murphy and Story will serve as EPs alongside Michael Rotenberg and Avi Gilbert. And should the show be single camera, Story will direct. If you remember, put pilots are TV shows that will be made regardless of the quality of the pilot itself.
