The mother from How I Met Your Mother and a New Girl writer are coming back to television. Cristin Milioti and Nina Pedrad are in pilot talks with FX, which ordered a new half hour starring the two girls. Variety reports that the show will follow Maxine (Milioti), her best friends Natalie (Pedrad) and Amy, and step brother Landis, as they navigate the abject shit-storm that is adulthood.” Maxine is an ex-actress while Natalie sells weed and aspires to be the best weed seller. Both wrote the script and will serve as executive producers. FX stalwarts and Always Sunny in Philadelphia creators Rob McElhenney, Charlie Day and Glenn Howerton are producing through their RCG Productions company.
