David Letterman's first guest on his Netflix show is the last good president

David Letterman has been off the air for two years now yet his eagerness to return knows no bounds. That's why he teamed up with Netflix to do another talk show. For a few months now, mum has been the word on the series but now we finally have a few details.

According to Deadline, Letterman's new show is titled My Guest Needs No Introduction and his first interview is a ginormous. President Barack Obama is tapped to talk with the host about all things presidential.

Other guests will include George Clooney, Malala Yousafzai, Jay-Z, Tina Fey, Howard Stern. My Guest Needs No Introduction will also include field segments and interviews beyond the traditional studio setting.

The first episode premieres on Netflix on January 12 with the remaining five airing monthly throughout the year. Future episodes haven't been mentioned. 

It's worth noting that Letterman doing an online series is in stark contrast as to what he said in 2015 when asked about late night making the rounds on YouTube.

Now Bro Biden made a Funny or Die video with Adam Devine about sexual assault on college campuses. Like many comedy videos with real messages, this one has all the serious turns needed. But the best joke has to be that all the kids thought a suit donned Biden was a college student. Classic.

And now Obama will appear on 'Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee'

Jerry Seinfeld's Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee has featured some of the best funny people around from Kevin Hart to Jimmy Fallon and Sarah Silverman. Now, the prolific breakfast show is getting its biggest guest yet in the form of the President of the United States. That's right; Barack Obama will join Seinfeld on an excursion to pick up a cup of Joe (let's hope Biden is okay with that). Deadline reports that the episode will air on December 30 and it was shot at the White House featuring a 1963 Corvette Stingray Split Window Coupe. Let's hope that this is the beginning of Obama's post-presidency reign on standup. Does he have the chops to be a comedian? Perhaps. It must be noted that the season also features big names like Will Ferrell, Steve Martin and Garry Shandling.

Marc Maron will finally ask Barack Obama 'WTF'

Presumably starting the podcast with "What's up what the...f'ies, what the f'ers, what the funk buddies..." this time around, comedian Marc Maron will interview President Barack Obama. The two are set to sit down Maron's comfy garage podcasting office to talk about all things presidential. Deadline scooped the story. Maron tweeted that a special podcast was coming up all week long:

This is the first time Obama has been on a comedy podcast. However, he is no stranger to comedy. For one, he's a pretty funny person (no matter you allegiance politically). Barry Obams has also appeared on alternative comedy podcaster Scott Aukerman and bearded host Zack Galifianakis' Between Two Ferns. Hopefully things will get really tense as Maron asks "we good?" and a slew of secret service personnel jump him. It would also be nice to see presidential hopefuls stop by podcasts. How about Jeb Bush on Hollywood Handbook? Or Hillary Clinton on Nerdist? Or Donald Trump on How Did This Get Made? I could go all day.
