Bob Odenkirk, Patton Oswalt & a whole bunch more are 'Freaks of Nature'

Horror-comedy movies are becoming more prevalent as seen in releases like The Final GirlsHell Baby, and Hell and Back. The genre shows no sign of stopping, now, as Freaks of Nature releases a trailer full of zombies, aliens and laughs aplenty. The movie also features appearances by Bob Odenkirk, Keegan-Michael Key, Patton Oswalt, Ian Roberts, Denis Leary and others. Freaks of Nature looks to be more ambitious than many other horror-comedies out right now but you can cast your final verdict when the movie comes out on October 30th.

Bob Odenkirk thinks ahead, brings own interview questions to Kimmel

Bob Odenkirk is a smart man as evidenced by his comedy. Naturally, a smart person wants the right questions asked instead of pandering around with inane small talk. During his appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night, Odenkirk gave his own pre-prepared Emmy questions to the only host he thought could handle the job. He also reveals the Mr. Show spiritual successor on Netflix, With Bob and David, is slated to premiere this fall.

The Mr. Show boys are back at it!

Bob Odenkirk and David Cross are making a sketch series for Netflix Deadline reports. A mysterious picture taken by Paul F. Tompkins featuring the likes of himself, Odenkirk, Cross, Brian Posehn, Scott Aukerman and others earlier this year made everyone feel the warm joy that we once felt with Mr. Show. The streaming service has ordered four half hour episodes of With Bob & Dave and an hour long "making of" special.

According to Deadline, the show sounds like an instant classic already: "After being dishonorably discharged from the Navy SEAL, Bob and David are back serving our country the way they do best: making sketch comedy."

Famous friends are most likely going to appear too. Odenkirk and Cross are set to write, star, and produce the series in conjunction with Marc Provissiero and Naomi Odenkirk of Odenkirk Provissiero Entertainment, Tim Sarkes of Brillstein Entertainment Partners, Dave Kneebone, Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim. Did you read that correctly? Tim & Eric are along for the ride.

This Mr. Show spiritual successor should satiate our appetite.
