The man who once called himself McLovin joins the man who once called himself Winger in CBS pilot

Pilot season is getting incessantly busy this part of year. CBS has already commissioned a few shows itself and now it's adding a pretty big star to its already stacked roster. Christopher Mintz-Plasse joins Joel McHale in The Great Indoors reports Variety. The multicamera project comes from Tosh.0's Mike Gibbons and centers on McHale's adventure reporter character, aptly named Joel, who must adapt as he becomes the boss to a group of millennials in the digital department of the magazine. Mintz-Plasse will play the nerdy and techy Clark, one of Joel's coworkers who knows everything there is to know from surviving at sea to living on Mars but hasn't left the downtown area in a while. The pilot also includes Chris Williams, Shaun Brown and Christine Ko.
