Back in March, I reported a that NBC was hopping on the nostalgia train and bringing back its hip, Craig T. Nelson led series Coach. Since then, the network has changed its position on the whole situation. NBC took the reboot/sequel series straight to order with 13 episodes and, after producing only one, Deadline reports the network reneged on its offer. Apparently there has been creative differences on both sides of the project with responses not being up to par with NBC standards. Universal TV is said to be taking the show elsewhere. Looks like this Coach is sitting this season out.
