Upright Citizens Brigade founders to reunite at Carnegie Hall next year

Fans of improv and alternative comedy are in f or a treat. The founding members of the Upright Citizens Brigade are coming together for a new sketch showcase at Carnegie Hall. On Thursday, June 28, 2018, Amy Poehler, Matt Besser, Matt Walsh and Ian Roberts are taking A.S.S.S.C.A.T. to the stage for one night only.

The performance is a part of the 20th annual Del Close Marathon where comedy fans celebrate the work of the festival's titular man.

Tickets, of course, cannot be bought yet. This year's Del Close Marathon recently came to a close this past weekend. Bob Odenkirk, Patton Oswalt & a whole bunch more are 'Freaks of Nature'

Horror-comedy movies are becoming more prevalent as seen in releases like The Final Girls, Hell Baby, and Hell and Back. The genre shows no sign of stopping, now, as Freaks of Nature releases a trailer full of zombies, aliens and laughs aplenty. The movie also features appearances by Bob Odenkirk, Keegan-Michael Key, Patton Oswalt, Ian Roberts, Denis Leary and others. Freaks of Nature looks to be more ambitious than many other horror-comedies out right now but you can cast your final verdict when the movie comes out on October 30th. 

'Key & Peele' showrunners to develop a buddy comedy in 'The Romeos'

Key & Peele is over and everyone is moving on with their careers. Keegan-MIchael Key will do some big acting things while Jordan Peele will write and act and probably be great at everything he does. The show's executive producers/showrunners, Ian Roberts and Jay Martel, are moving up as well as they head to ABC with their new comedy series The Romeos, Deadline reports . Although it sounds like a show in which Romeo Miller plays twin versions of himself the series will focus on old men. Romeo is said to stand for Retired Older Men Eating Out while the show revolves "around two completely dissimilar 65-year-old neighbors who join forces to take full advantage of their second acts — driving each other, and everyone around them, crazy in the process." The Romeos will also be written by the duo.
