SNL adds young comedian Jon Rudnitsky

Jon Rudnitsky doesn't have hundreds of thousands of followers on Twitter nor does he have a ton of subscribers on YouTube. But he does have what it takes to be on Saturday Night Live. Deadline reports the show added Rudnitsky as the sole new featured player for the upcoming 41st season. Get this: he's only 25. Rudnitsky began his comedy career in high school going on to win the 2012 Laugh Factory Laugh Bowl. He was also a part of the 2015 Just For Laughs New Faces lineup. He's performed with The Groundlings and even starred in several of his own YouTube videos which have garnered millions of views.

Last season, the show added the youngest player in Pete Davidson and the oldest in writer turned cast member Leslie Jones. This is a part of the show's restructuring following the wake of departures of show veterans. Season 41 will see no cast changes and the show is still in the process of hiring writers who, according to Deadline, "have the potential to become cast members."
