Kristin Chenoweth is a magical being, isn't she? Just look at her tiny, fairy like frame. Or listen to her cute little voice (This is in no way me putting her down because she's a woman; she's tiny and adorable. That's it). And she's already starred as a witch on Broadway so there's that.
Deadline reports Chenoweth is returning to TV with a show about her being a fairy godmother. ABC has ordered a put pilot for The Real Fairy Godmother. It follows Chenoweth as a housuewife that "learns that she’s descended from a secret order of Fairy Godmothers and has an inescapable destiny to use her magical abilities to help those in need. As she begrudgingly executes her assigned weekly FGM missions, she slowly begins to realize just how superficial and morally bankrupt her actual life is and — to the confusion of her dysfunctional family and friends — tries to get them all to be better people."
The Real Fairy Godmother comes from executive producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron. The show is also written by Alan Zachary and Michael Weiner. ‘Til Death creators Cathy Yuspa and Josh Goldsmith will participate as showrunners.
