Rob Corddry and The Rock are the GOAT in the new season 2 'Ballers' trailer

If you liked the smell of the hyper sexed, hyper douchey dish that HBO's Ballers was cooking, then you're in luck as the trailer for season two is here. Although there's no release date for the sophmoric season of the Rock led show, you can see a whole lot of what the show promises. That is what trailers do, after all. Rob Corddry and Dwayne Johnson are taking on the world as they try to become two of the top guys in their division or whatever. Ballers was picked up in July of 2015 while its friend in the timeslot, Brink, was picked up then dropped.

HBO's Newest Comedies Premiere Soon-ish

Following the sure to be a huge fucking hit season two of True Detective (or season Tru-Detective if you're trying to save time) are HBO's new comedy shows The Brink and Ballers.

Dwayne Johnson leads Ballers as the show explores the lives of former and current football players. Rob Corddry is also Johnson's old boss and current financial adviser. Other stars include Omar Benson Miller, John David Washington, Troy Garity, Donovan Carter, Jazmyn Simon, Taylor Cole and LeToya Luckett.

The Brink follows "a geopolitical crisis and its effect on three disparate and desperate men: U.S. Secretary of State Walter Hollander (Tim Robbins); Alex Coppins (Jack Black), a lowly Foreign Service officer; and Zeke Callahan (Pablo Schreiber), an ace Navy fighter pilot." It's up to these guys to save the world from World War III. Both of these shows have stellar casts and should be interesting enough. Also, The Rock is in a TV show.

Both shows air at 10 and 10:30 PM on Sunday, June 21.

Jason Nash is Kickstarting a Vine Movie

On the heels of that Facebook film and way before the obvious Pinterest play, Vine is getting a movie about its vineness.

Jason Nash (Jason Nash is Married) has started a Kickstarter campaign for his second self written/directed film FML: A Social Media Adventure. Set to star Vine aficionados Jason Nash and Brandon Calvillo, the movie follows "Sam (Nash) as a father and husband that is barely getting by and is having a mid-life crisis. Henry (Calvillo) lives at home, works at a video game store, and is angry at the world. They meet through a social media app called ReLoad and, despite having very different lives, decide to take a two-month road trip to collab with social media stars around the country and boost their number of followers 'in hopes of never having to work a real job again.'"

Oh and, with this being a Vine movie, other vine stars will appropriately be appearing including Brittany Furlan, Nicholas Megalis, and Markus Johns as well as over 35 additional Viners.  Actual movie and television stars are too making appearances like Patton Oswalt, Busy PhilippsT.J. Miller , Andy Daly , Paul ScheerRob Corddry , and Ken Marino.

Rewards of course start with a digital download of the completed film and production diaries then go to a Eddie Pepitone voicemail rant and a Vine or Instagram takeover by one of the stars. You could even get consulting on how to properly benefit from social media. Yeah, it's a thing.
