Comedian Abbi Jacobson is set to become artist Abbi Jacobson thanks to a new podcast. The actress will be hosting A Piece of Work for The Museum of Modern Arts in conjunction with WNYC Studios. The series is centered around the most asked questions targeted at MoMA's contemporary pieces that are just out of reach in understanding for the regular person.
"Until I started this project, I didn't realize how many questions I had, and how much I missed looking at and talking about art," said Jacobson in a statement. "Museums can be intimidating spaces, and I hope this podcast makes them more accessible."
Each episode of A Piece of Work will take a look at art from Jackson Pollock, Steve McQueen, Yoko Ono and more. Experts from the museum as well as celebrity guests like Hannibal Buress, Tavi Gevenson, RuPaul, and Questlove will join Abbi on the journey to find what each piece means.
The ten part series debuts on Monday, July 10. Check out the schedule for the series below.
