Joe and Anthony Russo are Coming Back to NBC for a Minute

After losing or getting rid of 90% of their comedy shows, NBC panicked and picked up five other pilots within the last two weeks. Five. That's already on top of the other seven they have in development.

Looks like they didn't play well with others on their Comedy Playground.

Now, THR is reporting that the multicolored peacock has added yet another show to its lineup. From three producers that brought you that smash hit Animal Practice comes a buddy comedy that is sure to leave you barking with laughter. Aseem Batra heads the project but don't hold his past against him; he's done hits like Scrubs and misses like The Cleveland Show. This show will focus on "best friends Dale and Georgie, whose relationship is upended when he starts dating the 'perfect' woman."

Batra is writing the script with help from The Russo Brothers who are fresh off of Captain America: The Winter Soldier. The two are no strangers to TV; they worked on Community before. But who knows how much time they have to dedicate to this show. They have that movie money now.
