The Guy is back in a new trailer for the new season of HBO's "High Maintenance"

High Maintenance is on the way back to TV in early 2018. Ben Sinclair and Katja Blichfeld's show following the customers of weed dealer The Guy has a return date on HBO. Although the show returns on Friday, January 19 at 11 PM, you can catch up with the old episodes plus the web series on the HBO app of your choice. In the meantime, check out the trailer for the new season.

We gave a First Look Review of High Maintenance. We praised the character work it provided for the people The Guy sold to: "For those that like character pieces, definitely give it a shot. Every episode is going to be different and it’ll be cool to see how The Guy plays a role (or doesn’t in some cases) in the narrative of each character."

Amy Poehler and Will Ferrell are paying tuition with "The House" this summer

Summer comedy season is a hit or miss period that can pop out some gems once in a while. Last year's Popstar Never Stop Never Stopping was a good example that no one saw. 22 Jump Street was in the same role two years prior. This year will have a few more will join the club including reboot Baywatch. And that movie will have the company of The House.

Will Ferrell and Amy Poehler star as two parents who can't pay for their daughter's college tuition. That's when Jason Mantzoukas's character suggests they open a casino in their home. Other cast members include Nick Kroll, Lennon Parham, Cedric Yarbrough, Rory Scovel, and Rob Huebel among others. Frequent Zac Efron collaborators Brendan O’Brien and Andrew J. Cohen wrote the script and Cohen directed.

A 'CHiPs' movie will also weigh down on your already overburdened nostalgia

Old movies turning into shows (Lethal Weapon), shows turning into movies (Baywatch), not exactly old but still old shows (Charmed and Gilmore Girls) is a practice that does not seem to be slowing down any time soon. Last night's Jimmy Kimmel Live introduced yet another show-turned-movie in the form of CHiPs starring Dax Shepard and Michael Pena. If the trailer is any indication, the movie is full of penis jokes, small explosions and buddy cop shtick. Let's not forget the mild destruction of Los Angeles and the probable overuse of "California Love."

The cast is somewhat well packed with Kristen bell (appropriately playing Shepard's wife), Maya Rudolph, Ben Falcone, Adam Brody, Wilmer Valderrama, Ryan Hansen, and Vincent D'Onofrio playing the villain. Shepard actually takes the duty of writing, directing and producing making this his baby; much like 21 Jump Street and Jonah Hill. Still though. at this pace, every show from the 70's, 80's, 90's and early 2000's will probably be brought back in some form. I personally cannot wait to see who they get to play Arnold Jackson for the Diff'rent Strokes movie. CHiPs is set to release on March 24.

'Absolutely Fabulous' trailer is definitely incredible

Fans of pop culture cult classics and British things are in for a treat as the trailer for the long awaited Absolutely Fabulous released today. For the first time ever, Edina and Patsy (Jennifer Saunders and Joanna Lumley) will leave the home screen and jump to the silver screen. Both Jon Hamm and Kate Moss are along for the ride. The movie will hit US screen on Friday, July 22nd.
