Episode 126 - The Institutions That Matter

Can you believe it's been a week already? These days... they're sure were seven of them. During said days, this happened: APPLE is putting its own apps first in app searches; YOUTUBERS are making explosive podcasting moves on YouTube; NEW YORK TIMES film critics cover where the movie going experience is headed in a world with monopolistic studios, streamers keeping us at home, awards and tickets; and DISNEY is (maybe, definitely) screwing over actors, producers and creators out of their residuals. Plus a lot more on this extra packed episode of goodness!

Episode 125 - Clean Show, Dirty Move

In between watching episodes of Succession, Chad managed to squeeze in one of these hot podcasts. He also managed to play the new BLAIR WITCH game. As well as being scary, it is also very, very buggy. Plus, STEVEN UNIVERSE THE MOVIE is one of the best translations of TV shows to movies (the same goes for DRAGON BALL SUPER: BROLY too). Finally, what happens to a book author's sales when they're added to Oprah or Reese's book clubs? And all the corporation mergers have killed off the middle ground of Hollywood.

Episode 124 - Less Than 12 Inches

Is it a week when there's not a podcast? Yes. That's how weeks work. Chad rambles on forever about THIS WAY UP starring Aisling Bea on Hulu; another study from the USC ANNENBERG INCLUSION INITIATIVE that covers Latino representation in Hollywood; and YouTube's fight against a growing union.

Episode 123 - The "All New" Podcast "Revolution"

The podcast is back, ready to talk straight smack about internet people making videos without much substance. Chad doesn't want to hurt anyone's feelings but it's time to delineate between what's eye candy and what's a full feast. Also: MEGAN ELLISON is doing her best to keep ANNAPURNA PICTURES out of bankruptcy; and VARIETY'S cover story of Conan O'Brien "revolutionizing" podcasting is...so far from the truth.

Episode 122 - I'm An Adult Boy Now

Late and chock full of peanut butter, it's The Constitutionals podcast! This week Chad covers: the new VIACOM/CBS merger and its perceived inability to be as big as Disney/Fox; Disney's broad reach in film and its concern with FOX movies not making billions like theirs; TV deals coming in waves and more!
