Hannibal Buress Gets to Ask Comedy Central 'Why?'

Comedy Central is doubling down on Hannibal Buress starting this summer.

The Broad City star is finally getting what every comedian needs: a show on a stand up based comedy channel. Joining the ranks of Amy Schumer, Daniel Tosh, Anthony Jeselnik, Daniel Tosh again and others, Buress will take the leading man spot in Why?

The Wrap reports that the comedian will star in the half hour series "as he addresses major cultural issues through stand-up, filmed segments, man-on-the-street interviews and interviews with in-studio guests."

Buress' other credits include The Eric Andre Show and the movie Neighbors. Buress said that “[He is] extremely excited to help Comedy Central sell advertising." You can catch Why? on Comedy Central this July. Bye!
