Once the best broadcast network for comedy shows, now known for canceling comedies ahead of regardless of critical acclaim, NBC is preparing for a third season of Superstore. The supermarket set comedy proved to be a hit for the peacock. It even garnered a full season order this past fall.
The Hollywood Reporter says the America Ferrera-led series has been performing well with its Olympics lead in garnering the premiere 9.7 million viewers. NBC also renewed The Good Place. March will see the premiere of anthology comedy Trial & Error. And this fall Marlon Wayan's Marlon and Tracey Wigfield's Great News will join the once ailing comedy lineup.
