Nikki Glaser gets her own Sirius XM show with help from Comedy Central

Even though their relaitonship seemed to be shattered after the excellent Not Safe was canceled, Comedy Central and Nikki Glaser are back in cahoots with a new show. But don't expect this one to be hitting traditional TV airwaves mostly because it's a radio show. 

You Up with Nikki Glaser is going to a show with the host and her touring companion Tom Thakkar talking about all manner of things from the news to pop culture to sex and all the gritty stuff in between. It'll premiere in February.

The show will run on Sirius XM's Comedy Central Radio channel Monday through Thursday from 10 AM to noon. You Up marks the second show to air on the channel after The Bonfire with Big Jay Oakerson and Dan Soder. 

Nikki Glaser will continue to be 'Not Safe' in June

Comedy Central has found itself another hit with the pseudo-talk/sex/relationship show Not Safe with Nikki Glaser. In two weeks time, new episodes will hit the airwaves come Tuesday, June 7th at 10:30 PM. Special guests are still a big part of the series and this new set of episodes will have some of the funniest people around including Marc Maron, Rachel Bloom, Adam Pally, David Spade, Margaret Cho, Jim Jefferies, and Nicole Byer.

The Oddball Comedy Festival returns next month and Funny or Die has released the full schedule and dates. Aziz Ansari and Amy Schumer are hosting while John Mulaney, Nick Kroll, Anthony Jeselnik, Jay Pharoah, Nikki Glaser, Jeff Ross, Michael Che, Nick Thune, Rachel Feinstein, Rory Schovel, T.J. Miller and more are set to perform at various points in the festival. Tickets will go on sale starting this Friday. You can find all the dates, information and featured comedians over on the website. Comedy Central is bringing back the Social Scene

Last year, Comedy Central teamed up with Paul Scheer and Red's Apple Ale in order to produce an online, Twitter driven improv series CC: Social Scene. This year, the multiplatform series returns with several comedians in tow. Actor Paul Scheer is not returning but  Al Madrigal, John Gemberling, Nikki Glaser, Riki Lindhome and others are set to cameo.

Each week, Comedy Central will ask its followers on Twitter to share their ideas for topics. These topics will be improvised in larger, preprepared subjects including an adult kickball league led by Madrigal, housefits fashion show with Lindhome and food festival pick up lines with Gemberling and Glaser. New episodes will be uploaded/posted to all of Comedy Central's platforms from Facebook and Twitter to their own apps on Thursdays. Now Nikki Glaser is getting her own Comedy Central series

Comedy Central is kicking ass in the girl department. They have Inside Amy Schumer which is drumming up awards all over the place and Broad City which is hands down the funniest show on the network. Now, the all comedy channel has greenlit a new series called Not Safe With Nikki Glaser with six time @midnight winner Nikki Glaser. Deadline reports that the show will "blends chats with comedians, pre-taped vignettes and social experiments, with Glaser and her guests sharing personal stories about sex, relationships and other taboo topics that Glaser frequently touches upon in her standup." 

Set to debut in the future year of 2016, Not Safe was originally piloted in December under the name #NSFW w/Nikki Glaser.  

“I’m deeply touched that Comedy Central has decided to fulfill my dream of hosting a comedy show about sex. My parents are very proud (of my sister, who is a teacher),” said Glaser.
