In a move that surprises no one, Facebook is lurching its way towards television. The big blue social network has enlisted comedian Nicole Byer to help out. Better yet, Byer's canceled MTV series is making a comeback. Loosely Exactly Nicole, which didn't make it to a second season on the once music focused network, comes by way of The Hollywood Reporter.
They write that the deal is on because of ex-MTV executive Mina Lefevre's tenure at the network is up; she is now the head of development at Facebook. She and Byer have teamed up to bring the show back. Some of the case and all of the creative team are back as well as creator and showrunner Christine Zander. Facebook is said to give a summer launch to its original programming.
