The New York Times shares the wrong opinion!
Last week, after the world has been rocked by both a pandemic and protests, the New York Times published an editorial by Republican Arkansas Senator Tom Cotton that suggested military action was best to handle protesters. Staffers of the Grey Lady disapproved of the published piece en masse. The Times would retract the story and Opinions editor James Bennett would soon resign. This wasn't the first time his editorial choices made negative headlines nor is it the paper's either. Where does this leave opinion pieces in the eyes of the regular news cycle?
