When it comes to award shows, there are more than winners and losers. Being nominated is exactly as honorable as winning. When many famous people say "it's an honor," it should be taken as such. The amount of shows and movies that go unrecognized and die the same way is staggering. And this year's award circuit will be no different.
Marvelous Mrs. Maisel and The Disaster Artist get their mentions but favorites like Veep, The Good Place, Insecure, and GLOW didn't get the recognition they deserve. The argument of "peak TV" continues to loom over these growing awards shows.
