Nasim Pedrad Probably, Maybe Isn't Returning To SNL This Season

Chad White, My Time To Shine On SNL, Can You Hear Me Lorne

Nasim Pedrad is most likely not returning to SNL for her fourth season. This makes her the off-season's first loss.

Pedrad sort of kinda confirmed it this past weekend at the ATX Television Festival (but it was Buzzfeed that broke the story so...take it as you will***). Hired in 2009, Pedrad is known for her Kim Kardashian, Barbara Walters and Arianna Huffington impersonations. She also had a few recurring characters like the wonderfully inept Shallon.

Here's her doing crazy things with Charlize Theron:

Splitsider recently broke down every SNL cast member's contribution from the past season and it's no wonder she's leaving. Probably because Pedrad is working on fellow SNL alum John Mulaney's show cleverly titled Mulaney, of which Fox asked an additional 10 episodes.

Here's a trailer for Mulaney while I'm at it.

Comedy Duo BriTANick Getting Their Own Comedy Central Television Comedy Program

Handsome comedy duo BriTANick are being given the classic comedy honor as Comedy Central is allowing the boys to bring their antics to television.

Following the success of Broad City and other shows from comedians that originated on the internet, BriTANick is adapting a half-hour pilot for the cable channel THR reports. The show will be dubbed BriTANick.  The show will star Nick Kocher and Brian McElhaney as besties that go on wacky adventures.

The pilot stems from the extremely popular web series that has gotten the attention of sci-fi god Joss Whedon and his most likely super best friend Nathan Fillion, who have appeared in a short or two.

Hailing from Atlanta, GA, Kocher and McElhaney created BriTANick in 2008 after the duo graduated from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. They produce every facet of their videos including editing, writing, and directing. They have had success acting in other films and TV shows including Much Ado About Nothing and How I Met Your Mother.

These guys are talented enough to make this show a success.
